Roger's vision is sometimes close-up, exploring the minutiae of a landscape as he does in the "wings" and "fins" pages.

His views can be broad, as they are in the painterly, impressionistic landscapes that make up much of his "Impressions" series.

Sometimes Roger takes to the woods, exploring his special icons of birch, palms and other trees in styles ranging from impressionistic to abstract.

Sometimes his vision goes to the essence of things recreating the unseen in his abstractions and assemblages.
