The glow on the left edge of this piece suggests a moment of transition. As the burst of sunlight descends, the smoky clouds emerge, foretelling an evening snow shower.
A snowy aspen referred to in the studio as a “zen” aspen, created for contemplation and meditation. The moon casts purple shadows across evening on the mountain.
