Pogonip, Opus 479, 2009
Glass, 11 by 17 inches.
Frame, 14 by 20 inches.

This was a small series related by their intimacy, abstraction and ability to create a space the viewer feels comfortable inhabiting with their own interpretations of what they feel, or perhaps know, is there.

Pogonip is the Shoshone Indian word for Òfrozen fogÓ and seemed appropriate for a birch piece sent to one of my Colorado galleries.
