This was a small series related by their intimacy, abstraction and ability to create a space the viewer feels comfortable inhabiting with their own interpretations of what they feel, or perhaps know, is there.

The high desert of Eastern Oregon reminds me of the Mojave in Southern California where I spent many summers while growing up.  This is the first in a series of botanicals from that area.
